In this third show we look back at the unforgettable performances of Freddie Starr, The Bee Gees, Joan Rivers, Bruce Forsyth and Ricky Martin with revealing interviews including Robin Gibb, Joan Rivers and Bruce Forsyth.

We’ll hear how comedian Freddie Starr terrified the audience in both the Audience Withs he hosted with crazy stunts like seemingly throwing knives at a blindfolded Garry Bushell and appearing naked in a tank of water. But we’ll hear how his best remembered stunt was throwing live maggots over the audience (though they mostly ended up over Faith Brown).

We look back at the performance given by The Bee Gees who jumped at the chance to host An Audience With… and shared many childhood memories with the audience. They also performed some of the songs they had written for other artists and welcomed special guests Boyzone to sing with them one of their all time classics, ‘Words’.

We’ll hear how Joan Rivers set the stage alight when she performed her first Audience With in 1984. Her shocking style of humour really hit home to the British audience who barely knew her – but soon she would be a household name. Not knowing most of the audience meant she knew no boundaries resulting in a classic moment when she quizzed the Royal designers the Emanuels on the size of an engagement ring. She was back for a second time in 2006 when she shocked the audience again, this time talking about her husband’s suicide.

All round entertainer Bruce Forsyth waited until 1997 to show the celebrity audience his extraordinary range of talents from tap dancing to singing. As we see, at one stage Bruce was even joined on stage by the Bruce Forsyth Appreciation Society.

And finally we recall how singer Ricky Martin brought his Latin charm to the stage in 2001 and gave a full-on concert to the delight of the audience who said it felt like being at a proper gig. Word had got round that Ricky would be joined by a special guest star on stage, but no-one guessed that it would be Kylie Minogue!

Tomorrow there will be some articles about me in the newspapers because I have been doing some important interviews today. I wanted you to know that the articles are true. I also wanted you to know that I really respect your loyal support and all the kind messages I have had from you up to this date.

I have always been a very honest person and so it is important for me to continue to be honest. It has been the most amazing year so far and I feel so privileged. It’s also been a time of real self realisation and I feel as if I have grown up so much in these few months.

There has been speculation about my sexuality in the past and I have always been honest at the time I have been asked. Over the past few weeks I have really had time to reflect and to realise who I am. I spoke to my friends and family about this in the last few days and it was important to do the same for you all as you have been so supportive.

I have had nothing but support from you and many of you have been very open in saying that you will continue to support me whatever my sexuality. It is important to me to let you know first, so that you know the stories in the papers are true. I made the choice to speak openly about this.

Again, I can’t thank you enough for all your support.

Everything is going well and I’m really happy to be able to move forward from here

In a natural reserve of the United States a zebra / donkey cross has been born.

The animal has all the appearance of a donkey, but it has black stripes on stripe on the legs like a zebra.

“Donkeys and zebras in the field have been together more than forty years, but this is the first time something happened here,” said a representative.

The animal is crossed, so there will be a new kind of “zedonkeys.” Chestatee reserve is about 100 kilometers from the city of Atlanta.

Afanasiev’s tongue measures 3.5 inches from the middle of his closed top lip to the tip of his tongue.

That leaves him just 0.36 inches short of the world record, held by Briton Stephen Taylor, reports Wenn.com.

Afanasiev’s tongue got him a cameo on iCarly and the actor has never looked back.

The 20-year-old said: “I knew it was long, I just didn’t know it was one of the longest.”

The pop star, previously known as Darius Danesh, cracked several vertebrae in his neck in a road accident on 19 July while on vacation in Marbella, Spain.

The 29 year old and his two friends all survived the crash, but he admits the incident left him fearing for his life.

He tells Scotland’s Glasgow Evening Times, “It was absolutely terrifying. I thought that was going to be it. My life flashed before my eyes and I thought I was going to die.

“I don’t remember the impact – it all happened so fast and I felt very dazed afterwards. The last thing I remember was being thrown forwards. Before I knew it, I had got out of the car, but I hit the ground and I couldn’t feel my arms and my legs.”

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and doctors suggested an operation to repair the damage, but Campbell opted instead to wear a neck brace while he recovers, fearing surgery could harm his vocal cords.

He adds, “I’m lucky to be alive. I’m feeling much better but I still have a neck brace. I hope the vertebrae heal on their own. But if that doesn’t happen, they would have to operate. I want to put the op off for a few weeks and hope the damage heals.”

The rower was cycling through Arizona filming a new show for the Discovery Channel when he was involved in a collision with a truck.

He is currently semi-conscious in a neuro-trauma ward and will need six months to recover from his injuries, according to his wife Beverly Turner.

She tells the Daily Telegraph, “I’d spent years worrying that James would plunge down a crevasse in some remote wilderness, but it was a road traffic accident in the U.S. that has left him with a fractured skull and damage to his brain.”

Turner reveals Cracknell has had bleeding and swelling on his brain, which could cause personality and motivation issues – but she insists his prognosis is good.

She adds, “Only those closest to him may be able to tell a subtle difference.”

The pair shares two children, Croyde, six, and Kiki, 16 months.

The Killer Elite is reportedly based on a book by explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes about the murder of SAS soldiers.

Scenes featuring Statham were shot in the Brecon Beacons on Wednesday, and artificial snow was used to create a wintry scene in the middle of summer.

Part of Cardiff city centre has also been cordoned off for filming.

Sir Ranulph’s book, called The Feather Men, is thought to be based on real events, and describes how four British soldiers, including two members of the Special Air Service (SAS), were murdered by a hit squad.

The regiment is understood to train in the Brecon Beacons, and that is thought to be one of the reasons why it was chosen as a location for the movie.

Artificial snow was laid in an area known as Pont ar Daf, between Brecon and Merthyr Tydfil, by the film crew on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a street off one of Cardiff’s main shopping areas has been cordoned off for filming on Thursday. Barriers have been placed across Windsor Place off Queen Street.

Samantha Games of Brecon Beacons National Park Authority said films brought benefits to small communities.

She added: “There are so many outstanding and diverse landscapes in the Brecon Beacons that we always try and go out of our way to promote them to location managers and film companies looking for something unique.

“Film productions bring many benefits to small communities in national parks and The Killer Elite is a feature film production which we welcome to the Brecon Beacons. It’s no secret that the SAS train in the wilds of Wales, so it made perfect sense to use the Brecon Beacons to film some of the film’s key shots.”

Ms Games thanked the film’s production company which has “taken great care to respect this protected landscape”.

Edwin Harris, chairman of the Brecon Beacons Commoners’ Association and the Welsh Commons Forum, said: “We are delighted that people appreciate the beauty and worth of the landscape we work on and care for.

“We would like to welcome more filming to the Brecon Beacons and look forward to working with the national park authority on future projects, including the work that we, the graziers do to manage this landscape.”

Mascot Productions, which is behind the filming, has been asked to comment.

The Harry Potter star upset thousands of wizard fans who camped outside the comic book convention to ensure they were first in line to catch the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows panel discussion – only for none of the leading stars to turn up.

Radcliffe later apologised and insisted he was never booked to attend the event, explaining that he spent the weekend in Russia for his big birthday celebrations.

He told fans, “I apologise to all the wishful thinkers for my disappointing non-presence. I was in Saint Petersburg for my birthday, which is probably the most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I’ve ever been in my life. It really is absolutely amazing. I went with two friends and it was brilliant.”

And new pictures show he celebrated the milestone in style – pouring Russia’s staple drink vodka with a bartender before laughing and partying with several local ladies.
