Milkshake Bop Box


Get your ‘bop socks’ on for loads of singing and dancing fun, with a brand new series of Milkshake Bop Box, coming to Milkshake this November.


The colourful in-house production brings presenters; Derek Moran, Kemi Majeks, Jen Pringle, Amy Thompson and Olivia Birchenough centre stage for an amazing line-up of catchy songs and funky dance moves for little ones to bop along to.


In each episode, the presenters are whisked into the fantastical world of the Bop Box where they show viewers how to perform fun dance moves before being magically transformed into the characters of the songs, including; astronauts, mermaids, pirates, superheroes and even a couple of wobbly jellies!


The series contains 26 original high energy songs for pre-school children. The music takes inspiration from a variety of musical genres, such as; classical, folk, rock and roll, gospel, pop and disco. This vibrant series is guaranteed to have children up on their feet clapping and jumping around. Milkshake Bop Box will ignite imaginations, stimulate creativity and coordination and encourage an appreciation of all sorts of music.


The production is a real Milkshake team effort.  Presenter, Kemi Majeks produced all 26 new songs, which are written by presenters Derek Moran, Jen Pringle and Kemi Majeks. Choreography is devised by Jen Pringle and Derek Moran and the series was directed by Derek Moran and multi award winning Nia Ceidiog.  Produced by Clair Robinson, with costumes by Sarah Broad and Mel Czaja and scripts by Jen Pringle, Louise Rigg and Clair Robinson.



Milkshake Monkey


The hugely popular Milkshake Monkey stars in a brand new series of hilarious monkey antics, which will be swinging on to screens in November. Top Nanas!

The much loved cheeky monkey will be taking us on 20 brand new adventures, including crabbing in rock pools, making new friends at the seal sanctuary, creating sock puppets for a show and of course meeting lots of Milkshakers along the way.


Milkshake Monkey is brought to life by Puppeteer Helena Smee, whose unique ability to communicate Milkshake Monkey to children, provokes their curiosity and encourages problem solving skills.

The series is shot entirely in Cornwall and takes advantage of the many wonders the county has to offer, such as St Mawes Castle, the Eden Project and St Ives Bay.  Milkshake Monkey also meets a variety of colourful characters like Baker Ben, Farmer Dan and Zoo Keeper Carl.


Milkshake Monkey’s curiosity and hilarious take on the world is bound to have viewers at home in stitches of laughter.
