Channel 5 and Twofour today announce the return of The Hotel Inspector for its tenth series.
Renowned hotelier Alex Polizzi is back on her quest to transform some of Britain’s most desperate hotels and B&Bs into successful business concerns.
Polizzi, the third generation hotelier of the internationally-renowned Forte family dynasty, has been the face of Channel 5’s longest running features format for the past six series and has consistently delivered strong ratings and critical acclaim.
Alex Polizzi said: “’I have loved every minute of my time as the Hotel Inspector, and I can’t wait to get on the road again for the next series. I always think that I have seen it all, only to be amazed once more at how many hapless hoteliers still need my attention! I shall try to be kind….!”
Twofour’s MD Melanie Leach said: “Alex is a unique talent whose expertise and no nonsense approach strikes a real chord with the audience. We’re thrilled to be working with her and Channel 5 on another series of Hotel Inspector.”
Series 9 doubled the slot average during its debut episode, holding on to a steady audience throughout the 10-part run, peaking with 2.3 million.
Ordered by Ian Dunkley, the series is executive produced by Melanie Leach and Dan Adamson and series produced by Kent Upshon.
