Coming soon to Channel 5, The Hotel Inspector Returns. Twofour has been commissioned to produce a 4 x 60’ series revisiting some of the hotels and guesthouses featured in The Hotel Inspector.
The show, which reached its 9th series last year, sees acclaimed hotelier Alex Polizzi transform some of Britain’s most desperate hotels and B&Bs.
In this new series of revisits, Alex will return to some of the most memorable hotels and discover if their fortunes have turned around.
Alex will return to The First in Last Out, a 17th-century Winchester pub and B&B previously plagued by poor reviews; ambitious project the Artist Residence in Brighton; The Caspian Hotel in Ealing, which suffered a 10 per cent occupancy rate and questionable décor; and the Who’d a Thought it in Kent, run by a self-styled showman.
Kent Upshon, Series Producer, Twofour, said: “Alex has definitely visited some challenging hotels in the past, and this series will give viewers a chance to see if they’ve continued to follow her advice. As with life, there are no certainties, but as always, Alex will be demanding perfection so we can guarantee the experience definitely won’t be dull…”
