DETECTIVES investigating a burglary in Wolverhampton in which an iPad was stolen have released an image of a man who could hold crucial information to solve the case.
The tablet was stolen between 9am and 11am from a home on Knox Road in the Blakenhall area of the city last Wednesday (13 February).
In the days following the burglary, the victim received photographs of a man using the iPad, which were sent to her via an Apple ‘iCloud’ account.
PC Stuart McNeil, from Wolverhampton police station, explained: “The man in the images may have a legitimate reason for being in possession of the iPad but, regardless of how he came to have it, we need to know who he is.
“I would urge anyone who knows the identity of the man in the pictures, or indeed the man himself, to come forward and speak to us.”
Anyone who recognises the man in the images should contact Wolverhampton CID on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
