TV Presenter Laura Hamilton engaged
TV presenter Laura Hamilton is engaged after her boyfriend proposed earlier this month.
The Dancing On Ice runner-up was left stunned when her partner Alex Goward popped the question at their Surrey home – and she immediately said yes.
She tells Hello! magazine, “Alex handed me a magnificent bouquet of lilies and roses. He said, ‘I’ve got something else to give you,’ and pulled open a velvet box from his blazer pocket and flipped it open.
“I just screamed ‘Oh my God! Oh my God! Alex was saying, ‘Are you going to answer me? And I said, ‘Yes! Yes! Yes,’ and literally jumped into his arms.”
The couple is planning to wed next September – and they’re also busy brainstorming honeymoon destinations. Hamilton adds, “We’re both adrenaline junkies. We love skiing and skydiving. My mind is always racing. Alex is fantastic at getting me to calm down and relax.”
