Reading: Do you know this man?

Thames Valley Police has released an E-fit image of a man it would like to trace in connection with a rape investigation in Reading.

Officers would like to speak to the man about an incident which happened at the rear of a fast food outlet in Station Road, Reading between 3am and 3.45am on August 24.

The victim, an 18-year-old woman, reported the incident to police later the same day.

The offender is white, approximately 27 years old, 6ft, slim, with a long thin face and very short brown hair. He was clean shaven and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.

Det Sgt Steve Jennings said: “This incident happened two weeks ago now and it is timely to renew our appeal for witnesses.

“As part of this renewed appeal we will have officers in the Station Road area tonight (6/9) handing out leaflets with the man’s E-fit image.”
