Monday 12th September
Deirdre betrays Tracy over her abortion. As Steve and Becky chat it’s clear he’s still harbouring feelings for her but he’s thrown when he spots Deirdre with Amy. Finding Tracy he lays into her for stealing his daughter, Tracy tries to calm him saying there’s something he needs to know but Steve refuses to listen, he hates her. Tracy’s broken and with all hopes for her and Steve gone she tells the Barlows she’s going to have an abortion. Tracy swears Deirdre to secrecy but convinced it’s a knee jerk reaction to Steve’s anger she heads to the pub. Steve’s upbeat having made plans with Becky to offer her a good settlement at the mediation meeting tomorrow but when Deirdre drops the bombshell that Tracy’s pregnant how will he react?
Sean gets carried away on his birthday. Following the upset of leaving Dylan, Sean’s looking forward to letting his hair down on his birthday. But when Marcus reveals he’s arranged for them to go to an adoption meeting Sean’s unimpressed. Despite his reservations he agrees but as he enjoys a few birthday drinks in the Rovers will Sean forget his promise?
Frank faces court. Frank heads to court while a hostile Karl insists they should throw away the key. What punishment will Frank face?
Elsewhere Kylie struggles to get her mobile nail business off the ground.
Part 2
Tracy makes a drastic decision. As Steve reels Deirdre pleads with him to speak to Tracy before it’s too late. At first Steve refuses to believe it, accusing Tracy of lying, but as she breaks down her vulnerability finally convinces him she’s telling the truth. But it changes nothing for Steve, he won’t let her use another child to manipulate him and refuses to be a father to this baby. Thrusting her referral to the abortion clinic into his hands she spits back it’s nothing more than she expected from him. Will Steve agree that an abortion is the way forward?
Sean’s birthday celebrations infuriate Marcus. In the pub Sean’s lost all track of time as he enjoys his birthday. When he realises he races off to the adoption meeting. How will Marcus react as Sean struggles to hide his drunkenness?
Frank plays the martyr. Franks surprises Carla when he takes her back to the posh Cheshire home they lost out on a view weeks ago. The buyer has dropped out so their offer has now been accepted. Frank’s ecstatic but is what Carla really wants?
Elsewhere Kylie’s more upbeat as her nail business starts to boom.
Thursday 15th September
Steve decides to face up to his responsibilities. As Tracy heads to the abortion clinic Deirdre is desperate to stop her. Feeling powerless she turns to Steve urging him to see that while Amy wasn’t planned she’s the best thing in his life. He was desperate for another child and now he’s making Tracy get rid of one. As Steve falters Becky waits at the mediation meeting, heartened by how amicable her relationship with Steve has become. But as time ticks on it looks like Steve isn’t going to show. Steve’s at the abortion clinic but is he too late?
Carla puts the brakes on the house move. As Frank’s solicitor arrives with the mortgage forms an anxious Carla comments that it feels very fast. Frank counters that time is of the essence; they’ll be married this time next week. Is Carla starting to get cold feet?
Sean and Marcus’ adoption plans race on. As Sean and Marcus make up Sean promises to attend another adoption meeting tomorrow. Marcus is enthused but Sean admits to Eileen that he’s not sure adoption is what he wants. Eileen urges him to come clean but is Sean too scared of losing Marcus?
Elsewhere Tina’s thrilled when she passes her driving test and Rita offers her the use of her car. As Tyrone plans his date with Kirsty, Tina urges Tommy to come clean about the bribe.
Friday 16th September
Will Steve choose Tracy over Becky? Becky’s confused by Steve’s no show yesterday. Feeling sorry for her Lloyd urges her to put Steve behind her and stand on her own two feet, offering her the flat above Streetcars as a starting point. Meanwhile with the baby now his priority Steve tells Tracy she needs a place of her own. But arriving at the cab office flat he’s stunned to find Becky inside. As a row breaks out between the women Steve’s caught in the middle, who will he side with?
Carla’s set on getting Frank out of her life. As Frank asks the factory girls to plan a surprise hen do for Carla she’s making plans of her own. With her solicitor Carla explains she’s in an awkward situation – if she splits up with fiance and partner Frank could he bring her business down? But before her solicitor can advise Frank arrives home demanding to know what’s going on!
Sean hurts Eileen as he covers his true feelings. Angrily denying he has any doubts about adopting to Eileen, Sean readies himself to attend the meeting with Marcus.
Elsewhere when Tommy finally admits he paid Kirsty to chat him up Tyrone reels. Does this mean she won’t show up for their date? An unknowing Tina boxes someone in with Rita’s car.
Part 2
Becky fights but is it all for show? Becky reels, unable to understand why Steve is siding with Tracy. Biting the bullet Steve reveals it’s because she’s carrying his child. As Steve tries to explain why he wants the baby Becky’s crushed and orders him out. But after a chat with Hayley Becky’s steel returns. Storming round to the flat she throws Tracy out, claiming that while she’s still married to Steve it’s her flat and she’s going to bleed him dry. Arriving at the scene will Steve be able to talk her round?
Sean fears life as an adoptive dad. As Marcus celebrates after a successful adoption meeting Sean struggles to share his enthusiasm. Will Sean come clean to Marcus and risk losing their relationship?
Can Carla keeps up the pretence? Carla feels wretched as she’s forced to play along with the surprise hen do, which includes a male stripper. Finally escaping she’s unnerved to find Frank still up with another surprise for her, luxury honeymoon tickets. Her panic rising will Carla tell Frank she can’t got through with the wedding?
Elsewhere Tyrone’s date with Kirsty goes swimmingly and ends in a kiss. But when Kirsty returns to her car she’s unamused to find it boxed in. Leaving the pub Tina finds fuming Kirsty sat on Rita’s car. Unaware of who she is how will Tina apologise?
