Melanie Sykes making daytime TV comeback
Melanie Sykes is heading back to ITV for her first daytime TV show since 2005.
The bubbly brunette co-hosted Today with Des and Mel with Des O’Connor until the mid 2000s, but has remained largely off screens since then.
However, she’s making a comeback this summer by teaming up with chef Gino D’Acampo for Lunch with Gino & Mel.
Sykes says, “Gino and I are going to have an absolute blast. Bring on the summer!”
The show, which is set to feature celebrity guests, will air on ITV1 in August.
