Topless balcony protest in Ukraine
A group of women held a rare protest on their balconies of Kiev, where they appeared topless, protesting against a law that prohibits them to wear lingerie on view in public, hang it on a clothes lines or put furniture on their balconies.
The Government’s action comes because Ukraine will host the next Euro 2012, and don’t want that thousands of tourists to have “a bad impression” on their visit.
Members of femininity, FEMEN, an NGO against conservative measures, known for performing various demonstrations against the Government of Ukraine, always topless, had no difficulties in taking off their clothes, despite it being 5 degrees below zero, and show their breasts to the crowd.
The beautiful girls showed signs that said “Our terrace is our castle!” and “We want to walk on our balcony, in our pajamas!”
