Life is tweet
Cool-headed car crash victim Li Chenxiao used a Chinese version of Twitter to update his followers on rescuers’ attempts to free him from his girlfriend’s mangled motor.
Chenxiao, 26, kept up a stream of tweets as he waited for rescuers in the smouldering wreck in Zhejiang, eastern China.
“Crash! I’m trapped but alive and I can smell petrol,” said one. Another, after he was rescued, read: “I’m alive and free!”
Later he explained: “I was very lucky to get out. We were hit by a truck and the car folded in half. But I could still move my hands and if I thought I was going to die all my pals would know about it.”
