There was something very familiar about this character when he took part in a one man crime wave in Hinofkirchen, Austria.
Sporting a bizarre SpongeBob SquarePants hat the crook stormed into a bank threatening staff with a razor sharp kitchen knife.
The crook – wearing a black jacket and jeans – fled with a bag full of 5,000 GBP in cash.
“It was a very odd disguise because instead of hiding him it drew everyone’s attention and we’ve had dozens of witnesses coming forward,” said one officer.
