Killer debut for Saw 3D
Saw 3D has knocked Paranormal Activity 2 off the top of the UK box office chart.
The supposed final instalment in the horror franchise took £3.6m in its opening weekend.
Second-placed movie Despicable Me took £2.6m, with Paranormal Activity 2 – down to third place – taking £1.8m.
RED and The Social Network round out the top five, with Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis’s black comedy Burke & Hare a new entry at six.
The Kids Are All Right, starring Annette Bening, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo, opened in ninth place.
