Jedward: Let Loose

Tuesday, 31 August 2010, 9:00PM – 10:00PM

In this second show Jedward have just flown in from the UK after performing a sell-out gig. They have been living on their own for two days but have only just realised they need to buy some essentials. With a budget of 250 euros they take a trip to Ikea, and as they race around the store with John pushing Edward in a trolley, they are more interested in buying fairy lights and pet accessories than buying furniture for their new pad. When they get to the check out they have gone way over budget and have to put back half the items they put in their trolley.

It’s an important summer for Jedward as they launch their new album and the next few weeks are crucial for the boys. They are shooting a video for their second single, but not all is going to plan and the shoot gets off to a shaky start. John is not happy and for once the twins are struggling to agree on creative matters. After a heart to heart on set they put their differences to one side and it’s back to business.

It’s the second morning in their new apartment and Edward gives his brother a rude awakening by throwing cold water over his head. The boys have been sleeping in separate bedrooms for the first time ever but they have missed each other and John drags Edward’s mattress into his room.

Later the boys prepare an intimate dinner party for some old school friends. The menu consists of nachos, marshmallows and chocolate sushi and accident prone John manages to break the glass table in the flat. They order in pizza and there is some left over so John takes it down to the fans who are waiting outside the apartment. While he is down there, Edward throws John’s underpants off the balcony for their fans to catch.

The next day the boys face the challenge of speed dating and neither of the twins have ever had a date before in their life. They each have a three minute date with twelve girls, but which lucky ladies will the boys choose to go on a date with?

At the end of a very long but fun day, the boys head straight to bed, but John hasn’t forgotten Edward throwing water over his head earlier and plants a pizza right into his brother’s sleepy face to get his own back.
