It’s a police steak-out with a difference.
Hundreds of motorists were stranded when a lorry shed 20 tons of meat on a motorway slip road in Maxendorf, Austria.
More than 40 firemen and police to three hours to clear up hundreds of cartons of beef, lamb and pork before they could re-open the road.
“The driver made a real hash of changing gear and jerked the truck so hard his load started to slip off,” said one officer.
