The actor Wesley Snipes did not declare his income during the years 1991 to 2001 and for that reason was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

The sentence was imposed in 2008. Snipes appealed unsuccessfully and must serve the sentence in federal prison.

According to statements he made to Los Angeles Times in March, Snipes was optimistic about the case.

Now he considers that the sentence is ‘irrational’ and blamed Kenneth Starr, one of his accountants, for his economic situation.
