A dog shot his owner
According to media “A hunter of 40 years old from New Zealand was hunting with a group of friends in the forests of Dargaville in the North Island of New Zealand, but when he decided to sit in the back seat of his car his dog jumped on the gun firing it and wounded the owner in one of his buttocks.
The hunter was taken by helicopter to Whangarei Hospital where he was operated and doctors managed to remove the bullet. Now he is stable and recovering.
The dog’s owner told to the police that he “thought that the gun was not loaded.”
According to Sergeant Ian Anderson, “we must be very cautious in handling firearms.”
