A couple, who had been harassing a whale, fell victim to its defensive attack as can be seen in this amazing photo captured by a witness.

The 40-ton whale jumped to the yacht that was on the coast of Cape Town, South Africa.

According to the Coast Guard, the couple could not have respected the exclusion zone of 300 meters and should have turned off the engine of the boat when they saw the animal.

But the owner of the yacht Paloma Werner who was with her husband Ralph Motes, say they have turned off the engine and did not provoke the atack.
