Police Commissioner murdered in the middle of a radio interview

A Brazilian policeman in charge of combating drug trafficking in the city of Camaçari, Bahia state, was killed in his car in the middle of a telephone interview with a local radio.

Clayton Leão, 32 years old, was attending to the floor to speak with hosts Marco Antonio Ribeiro and Raimundo Rui, but decided to change his plans and make the interview via phone.

Apparently, Leão stopped his car for a few moments to talk with the reporters when he was attacked by three men who shot him three times in the head.

Everything could be heard live on the radio program broadcast by Radio Líder FM. The cell was still on and his wife, who was in the car beside him, began to shout:

“For the love of God, they killed Clayton here in Cascalheira!” “My God, they killed him!,” while the hosts called alive that the police rushed to the scene.

And so they did. Minutes later an ambulance and police were present in the scene but could not save commissioner’s life.
