It looks like Coronation Street is set for a big dose of double trouble: Becky McDonald´s tearaway teen sister is about to make an appearance on the famous cobbles.

The 18-year-old arrives with her three-year-old daughter – and is set to cause havoc for residents of Coronation Street.

A soap insider told The Sun: “Becky´s sister is really going to cause ructions. Since she arrived in Corrie, Becky´s own rough edges have been smoothed off, and marriage to Stave has calmed her down a bit. But her sister is as fiery as they come.

The source continued: “Bosses haven´t figured out a name for the character yet, but they´ve certainly plotted out the kind of person she is: a gobby, chavvy troublemaker.” Sounds delightful, doesn´t she?

The sister is set to make her entrance this summer after the adoption agency tracks her down to discuss Becky´s suitability for adopting a child – and one thing´s for sure, the men of Coronation Street had better watch out. Becky´s sister is set to flirt with every man in the Rovers, including Becky´s hubby Steve.
