As if American Football watchers need another excuse to sit and watch their very special game, the sport is now being “sexed up” by the introduction of the LFL.

So, what exactly is the LFL? Well, it stands for the Lingerie Football League! It consists of teams of seven women, dressed in little more than a bikini, running around a big grass field and touching each other (in an appropriate, sporting manner of course).

In the interest of safety, the women must still wear the protective equipment such as shoulder pads (not the girly sort) and helmets, but other than that, they are free to show themselves off.

It was all an attempt to get more people interested in the sport, but it is questionable if it would encourage participation, or observation.
