Sam is affronted when Pollard quizzes him over the B&B robbery. He innocently denies it adding he got a cash advance from Natasha. However, when Pollard approaches Natasha he’s dismayed when she did nothing of the sort. Meanwhile, Marlon is exasperated when he realises Eli took the money. He packs his belongings and waiting at the bus stop, Eli is thoughtful as he glances at the pub. He confides to Marlon that he’s leaving for good however as he leaves he overhears Val blaming the robbery on Sam. Guilty, Eli exonerates his cousin before doing a runner as Pollard calls the police. Marlon tries to stop his brother but Eli walks off into the darkness.

Maisie and Declan notice Natasha’s irritation at their dinner date. Later, Natasha expresses her concern that Declan is too old for her daughter. Meanwhile, the atmosphere is tense between Jai’s date Faye and Maisie as they regard each other coolly over dinner.

Adam is clearly impressed by Eve when she arrives for work on the farm. However, Andy is wary and doubts she’ll last a month.
